Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland, ends almost £900,000 per week at the Etihad.
The Norway international arrived from Borussia Dortmund in a £51million deal this summer.
But the real cost of the deal was significantly higher due to agent fees and subsequent signing-on arrangements.
According to the Daily Mail, Haaland makes substantially more in add-ons that makes him the highest-paid player.
Haaland is set to earn a total of £45m in his first season with City, which breaks down into a staggering £865,000 per week.
Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo became the highest-paid player in the Premier League following his return to Old Trafford.
But the Portuguese superstar earns £25.5m per year, which is substantially less than Haaland’s current wage.
