Former English professional footballer Akinfenwa Adebayo has said the new Manchester City striker would score loads of goals this season.
After failing to convert several opportunities during the Community Shield last weekend, the Norwegian netted twice as Manchester City defeated West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday.
His performance on Sunday was completely at odds with his woes at the King Power Stadium against Liverpool.
The former Borussia Dortmund star was heavily criticised on social media for the misses but bounced back on Sunday.
“You know what, it was when he hit the penalty, and you know a player’s real deal when the other players come out and say ‘boy, he’s a finisher,’” Akinfenwa said on talkSPORT.
“He’s going to score loads of goals and I hate this! I hate this!”
Akinfenwa added, “He looks like he doesn’t get fazed [with criticism]. That’s when you know someone is a problem.”
