West Ham boss David Moyes admits they were offered Christian Eriksen before he signed for Brentford.
West Ham meet the Bees today.
“He was mentioned to us and was mentioned to a few clubs about coming back,” Moyes confirmed, adding that the Danish connection between Thomas Frank and his player clearly gave them the edge.
“I think Eriksen is a player a lot of people would look at and think ‘my goodness’.
“But I think everybody was more unsure.”
