Tottenham Hotspur forward, Heung-min Son says he ‘can’t believe’ winning the Premier League Golden Boot after sharing the prize with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah on Sunday.

Son scored a brace in Tottenham’s 5-0 win against Norwich to claim the shared top scorer prize alongside Salah as well as ensure Spurs qualified for next season’s Champions League.

Going into the Premier League final day, Son knew that he needed to score at least one more goal than Salah to share the award with the Egyptian.

Salah scored a goal in Liverpool’s 3-1 home win over Wolves at Anfield, meaning the players shared the prize.

Speaking after Tottenham defeated Norwich, Son said at his post-match press conference: “It’s incredible to have this award. I can’t believe it. I got really emotional. I dreamed of it as a child. Literally, it’s my in hands. I can’t believe it.

“Until my goal, I was really frustrated that I missed big chances. I told the players I missed the easiest chances and scored one of the toughest,” he added.

“I didn’t give up. I wanted to score today. The team helped me a lot at half-time. They wanted to help me, you could see it today.

“This season was a great lesson. Next season we can look forward to the Champions League. Everyone deserves to be there.”
