Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, said he has no doubts about the form of Mohamed Salah.
The Egypt striker is struggling in front of goal ahead of tomorrow night’s clash with Manchester United.
Klopp said, “It’s a completely normal spell he is going through. We’ve spoken about the physical demands. I liked the game against [Manchester] City a lot, it was a really good football game, only a question of time before he scores again. He’s been close enough a couple of times.
“We have had plenty of talks over the time we have worked together and at this specific moment there is no need to talk about the situation, just the normal stuff about what he has to do in the game and all these kind of things.”
On their crowded schedule, Klopp continued: “We’ve been in this situation since January – we are used to it. Recovery sessions, one session today – then we play tomorrow. The longest part of today will be sitting here in the media room!
“As long as you are successful, you don’t have the time. It is pretty demanding – I would love to have more time but that is wishful thinking. The boys are always ready to prepare as good as they can. For 3/4 teams in the league, it is the same.
“If we achieve anything this year it’s because of how all the boys deal with the situation, including the boys not in the squad from time to time, they keep still their training quality at a high level.”
