EPL: I’m sorry if I failed you – Antony apologizes to Ajax

Manchester United’s new winger, Antony has apologized to his former club, Ajax after forcing through his transfer to Old Trafford.

The Brazil international apologized for the manner he left in his £85 million move to the Premier League.

In his farewell interview with Ajax, Antony tells Ajax fans: “Sorry if I failed you” (Ajax).

The Brazilian would be hoping to make his debut for the Red Devils against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon few days after the summer transfer.

“I felt at home at this club. It’s quite difficult,” Antony said in his tribute video with Ajax.

“…It is how it is. Ajax will always be in my heart. I thank everyone. I thank the board, the players and the club. I thank the fans for their warmth.

“I’m sorry if I failed you, but I’m especially thankful for the great reception I got. I will have this club in my heart for the rest of my life. Thank you.”
