Tottenham Hotspur signing Destiny Udogie has said it will be an ‘honour’ to play under Antonio Conte.

The 19-year-old left-back has joined from Udinese on a five-year deal, although he will spend this season back at the Italian club.

“I can attack and defend. I like to show my quality to attack one versus one, dribble… It’s an honour to play under a big coach like Antonio Conte. He knows football very well and I’m going to grow a lot.

“I think the Premier League is the biggest league in the world, the most difficult and I like challenges. I’m excited to start and, for me, to play for a big team like Tottenham is a big dream come true.

“I want to grow as much as I can [back at Udinese], to understand the game a little bit more and obviously play my best season in Serie
