EPL: Iwobi Sets Sights on Stronger Season with Fulham

Alex Iwobi anticipates a successful season with Premier League club Fulham this year.

Under Marco Silva’s management, the team secured 13th place in the English top-flight last season.

They also reached the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup, where they were defeated by eventual champions Liverpool.

Looking ahead, Iwobi is optimistic about Fulham’s potential for the upcoming season.

“I’m excited to kick off the new season,” the Nigerian expressed to The Standard.

“Last season was a bit inconsistent for us at Fulham, but we know our capabilities.

As we reflected on the season’s end, we recognized the talent within the squad and our goal to climb higher up the table. Everyone is eager and prepared to make it happen.”
