Manchester United boss, Ralf Rangnick, has given some hints on the club’s plans to sign ‘two or three’ strikers in the summer transfer window.
Ralf Rangnick will hand over to Erik ten Hag in the summer and is tasked with bringing the glory days back to Old Trafford.
To achieve this, the Dutchman will bring in a host of fresh faces with defensive midfield said to be a priority.
But Rangnick, who will move into a consultancy role at the Theatre of Dreams, believes new attackers should be the focus.
The German spoke amid growing uncertainty around Cristiano Ronaldo’s future.
“This is a question you need to ask Erik ten Hag,” Rangnick told Sky Sports when asked about Ronaldo’s future.
“He’s shown that he can still be a vital part of this team, but it’s obvious the team needs some more strikers. There should be two or three new strikers next season, it’s pretty obvious.”
