Former Manchester United defender Danny Simpson has urged his club to move for Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha.
The 30-year-old played just four times for Man Utd during a two season spell at the club, one of which was spent on loan at Cardiff.
Zaha was signed for a reported £10million but fell out of favour under then manager David Moyes.
He was then sold back to Crystal Palace where he has since impressed over a number of seasons for the Eagles.
Simpson is confident he would link up well with Marcus Rashford at Old Trafford.
The Premier League winner with Leicester told Stadium Astro: “He [Zaha] can go wherever he likes especially on a free transfer in the summer.
“I feel like Wilf plays better when he is the main man.
“I would bring him back here [Man Utd].
“If you’re looking at Marcus Rashford as the No.9 and Wilfried on the left, that is some firepower.
“It was Sir Alex Ferguson who signed him then he left. Moyes obviously came in and it didn’t work out.
“I do genuinely believe if Sir Alex was the manager when he played we would have seen a different Wilfried Zaha at Manchester United.”
