Bayern Munich forward, Sadio Mane, has named the current Liverpool head coach as the ‘right’ manager to lead the Reds back to glory despite their struggles this season.
Liverpool are enduring their worst season since Klopp’s arrival back in 2015.
The Anfield club were knocked out early from both domestic cups and are on the verge of Champions League elimination after losing 5-2 against Real Madrid last week.
They currently sit in seventh position in the Premier League table with nine points off the top four.
Speaking to German outlet Bild, Mane, who left Liverpool to join Bayern last summer, said: “Liverpool will be back, I am convinced they’ll overcome this situation.
“They had many injuries and tough tests, but Jurgen Klopp is definitely the right man. He’ll lead Liverpool back up from this season – the players love him.”
