EPL: Nigerian youngster, Afolami signs first professional contract with Liverpool

Nigerian-born youngster, Afolami Onanuga has signed his professional contract with Liverpool.

Afolami linked up with Liverpool as an U-11 and has progressed through the ranks.

The 17-year-old was spotted playing grassroots football in Manchester.

The midfielder is currently a regular member of the U-18 squad.

Afolami made his debut for the U-21s when he started against Blackpool at Bloomfield last month.

He is a talented player who links the game well and looks to have a positive impact in the attacking third.
