Manchester United, Ralf Rangnick, has called for Arsenal and Everton to be punished too, following the UK government’s sanctions on Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich.
On Thursday, the UK government froze Abramovich’s assets, due to his links to the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, who has ordered a military invasion of Ukraine.
The Blues are currently unable to sell any tickets or merchandise and cannot offer new contracts to players.
Rangnick, speaking to the media on Friday, claimed Arsenal should also be looked at as Russian oligarchs have owned shares in the Gunners and Everton too.
“Not only at Chelsea, [but] also at Arsenal and Everton there were ownership shares by Russian oligarchs.
“This (Chelsea) was not the only club,” he said.
