Manchester United interim manager, Ralf Rangnick, has urged the club to sign three new strikers in the summer transfer window ahead of next season.
Rangnick, who will hand over to Erik ten Hag, at the end of the season, believes the three new strikers can address Man United’s weakness along with Cristiano Ronaldo.
With Edinson Cavani coming to the end of his contract and Mason Greenwood unavailable, Man United have no choice but to sign a new striker before next season.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo is set to be the only centre-forward at Man United for next season.
The 37-year-old has scored 23 goals this season but he’s been forced to single-handedly carry the burden of scoring for the Red Devils since January.
“This is a question you need to ask Erik ten Hag,” Rangnick told Sky Sports when asked about Ronaldo’s future.
“He has shown that he can still be a vital part of this team, but it is obvious the team needs some more strikers. There should be two or three new strikers next season, it is pretty obvious.”
