EPL: Rashford can score from any position, says Man Utd boss Ten Hag

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag insisted Marcus Rashford is capable of scoring from anywhere.

Ten Hag was asked whether he made a mistake in playing Rashford on the right wing in a 2-2 draw against Leeds United.

The forward was eventually moved to the left wing, where he looked more dangerous, and then up front where he scored from in the second half.

Laughing, Ten Hag asked Viaplay when Rashford had struggled on the right: “Well, which game was it?

“It was against Burnley he scored twice from the right, great goals.”

Ten Hag then added: “Marcus Rashford is scoring from everywhere. It doesn’t matter if it’s from the right, in the center or over on the left. He’s scoring from everywhere and today he showed it again.”
