EPL: Rio Ferdinand names Premier League Player of the Season

Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has named Manchester City’s Phil Foden as the Premier League Player of the 2023/24 Season, so far.

Foden has been impressive for Man City so far this season.

The England international scored a brace in Man City’s last Premier League victory against Manchester United.

When asked whether Foden is the player of the season so far, Ferdinand said (via Manchester Evening News):

“I would say yes. He is in that mix, definitely.

“When you think about Player of the Season, who else is there? No one is jumping off the page.”
