EPL: Ronaldo attempted to question Man Utd boss Ten Hag training methods

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo attempted to undermine Erik ten Hag by questioning his training drills.

Ronaldo was unsure about the drills that ten Hag was expecting the United players to perform, especially in relation to pressing off the ball from the front.

Per The Athletic, Ronaldo felt the team’s time could have been better spent on other drills.

However, his attempts to undermine ten Hag do not appear to have worked, as the squad has been won over by the Dutch manager.

Ronaldo was not involved in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea, while he has not yet trained with the first team since refusing to come on as a substitute against Tottenham in a 2-0 win.

The outlet reports that Ronaldo and ten Hag will clear the air this week, and only then will he be reintegrated to the squad.
