EPL: Saka to quadruple salary, become Arsenal’s highest-paid player

Date:

Arsenal winger, Bukayo Saka, is set to sign a new long-term contract with the club.

According to the UK Sun, his fresh deal will see him earn four times his current salary and become the Gunners’ highest-paid player.

Saka’s current contract was due to expire in the summer of 2024.

However, he is now on the brink of extending his stay at the Emirates through to 2028.

This season, Saka has scored 12 times in the Premier League, as Arsenal have stayed top of the Premier League all through the campaign.

He currently earns a weekly wage of £70,000 per week but that is set to rocket to £300,000 per week.

That agreement would make Saka the highest earner at the club, surpassing the £250,000 weekly wage paid to forward Gabriel Jesus – who joined from Manchester City last summer.
