EPL: Saliba set to dump Arsenal for PSG

Date:

Arsenal defender, William Saliba, is attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain, according to CBS Sport.

The 21-year-old is enjoying a stellar campaign with the Gunners this season after spending the last two campaigns on loan in France.

His fine form has seen Saliba called up for the 2022 World Cup call-up to represent France.

He may start for Didier Deschamps’ side in their first group fixture against Australia.

Saliba’s current contract at the Emirates is due to expire in the summer of 2024, and recent reports suggest that Arsenal have opened talks over a new, improved deal.

However, PSG are continuing to monitor his contract status as they look to bolster their defence. The report also adds that the defender “would be very interested in the Parisian project.”
