EPL: Sounders speaks on Salah’s failure to score in Liverpool’s 9-0 against Bournemouth

Liverpool legend, Dean Saunders, has compared Tottenham’s Harry Kane’s goal scoring mentality to Mohamed Salah’s.

This was after the pair differed in performances at their different clubs at the weekend.

While Kane scored twice to help Tottenham beat Nottingham Forest 2-0, Liverpool fired 9 past Bournemouth with Salah scoring none.

Saunders compared Kane to Salah to demonstrate just how incredible his goal scoring mentality is.

“I think that’s [Kane’s] biggest strength, his drive and his desire to score goals,” he said on talkSPORT.

“You know you had some players that you played with who were brilliant players but they didn’t really care if they scored or not.

“He [Kane] does. If he was playing for Liverpool on Saturday and they scored nine and he never scored, he’d be crying all week!”
