EPL: Super Eagles midfielder, Aribo gets new manager at Southampton

Date:

Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo will now work under a new manager at Premier League club Southampton, following the appointment of Nathan Jones.

The South Coast club confirmed the appointment of Jones on Thursday morning.

The 49-year-old was previously in charge of Sky Bet Championship club, Luton Town.

Jones penned a three-and-half-year contract with the Saints.

Southampton sacked Austrian tactician, Ralph Hasenhuttl last week following a string of poor results.

Aribo has made 14 league appearances for Southampton this season, with two goals to his name.

The Nigerian arrived at the St Mary’s Stadium from Scottish Premiership giants Glasgow Rangers last summer.
