EPL: Three key players missing from Chelsea squad to face Arsenal

Three key Chelsea players will not be part of the squad that will take on Arsenal in Wednesday’s Premier League tie at Stamford Bridge.

This was disclosed by Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, during his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.

Tuchel said the likes of Mateo Kovacic, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ben Chilwell, will miss the Arsenal clash.

Tuchel’s men head to the game after eliminating Crystal Palace from the FA Cup semi-final tie over the weekend.

“Kova [Kovacic] is out for the game, a ligament injury. Hopefully, [he will] not be longer than two weeks out,” Tuchel said.

“This is a long time for us in terms of games. Hopefully, as short as possible. Callum Hudson-Odoi out for the game [against Arsenal] and Ben Chilwell is out for the game.

“There are some players in doubt – which we need to examine – but hopefully, the rest is okay.”
