EPL: Tuchel to bring Kounde to Chelsea as four players leave Liverpool

Date:

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, wants to bring Sevilla’s Jules Kounde to Stamford Bridge.

This was disclosed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Thursday.

According to Romano, Kounde is a priority transfer target for Chelsea under Tuchel this summer.

He tweeted: “Jules Koundé deal, still a priority for Chelsea. Tuchel wants him. Talks are well advanced on the player side, while Sevilla is still waiting to receive the opening bid for the French centre back.

“Price tag will be around €65m, less than €80m release clause.”

Meanwhile, Liverpool on Thursday confirmed that forward, Divock Origi would leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June.

The Reds also confirmed that the likes of Loris Karius, Sheyi Ojo and Ben Woodburn would also depart Anfield upon their contract expires at the end of this month.

Liverpool disclosed this in a statement via its website.
