EPL: ‘Unfinished business’ – Mourinho eyes Man Utd return

Date:

Jose Mourinho remains open to a return to Manchester United for a second stint, as he feels he has “unfinished business” at the Premier League club.

According to the Daily Mail, Mourinho wants to work with United’s new co-owners Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS.

Ratcliffe and INEOS have purchased a 25% stake in the Red Devils and will take charge of football operations at Old Trafford.

While Mourinho is eager to return to United, the club is not searching for a new manager at this point.

Current manager Erik ten Hag is under contract until 2025.

Also, many of the players Mourinho criticized following his time at United are still there, with the likes of Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay still hanging on at Old Trafford.
