Leeds United coach, Jesse Marsch, has given a reason why his team defeated Chelsea 3-0 in Sunday’s Premier League tie.
Marsch watched as three goals from Brenden Aaronson, Rodrigo Moreno, and Jack Harrison gave Leeds all three points against Chelsea at Elland Road.
However, Marsch believes Leeds won against Chelsea because his players were ‘aggressive’ against Thomas Tuchel’s side during the encounter.
Speaking after the game, Marsch told NBC Sports: “That’s not the way we are ever gonna play [sitting back], but you have to calculate how you’re going to play against these opponents.
“I think that’s what is so pleasing, we were clear on the pitch and aggressive.”
Leeds United’s next Premier League tie is against Barnsley in the EFL Cup second round on Wednesday.
