Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel, has given a reason why his team was defeated 3-0 against Leeds United in Sunday’s Premier League tie.
Tuchel watched as three goals from Brenden Aaronson, Rodrigo Moreno and Jack Harrison gave Leeds all three points against Chelsea.
Kalidou Koulibaly, meanwhile, was sent off in the 84 minutes during the encounter at Elland Road.
However, Tuchel believes Chelsea lost against Leeds because his players lost track during the encounter.
Speaking at his post-match press conference, Tuchel said, “We can play on a high level and today we lost track.
“Everything was going well and I still believe we can win with this team in Leeds. I think it’s more our fault than anybody else’s credit.”
The German added, “I think we lost it in the last 20 minutes. Instead of 2-0, it became an even match and in that even match, we gave two goals away and then the game is almost done because we give away the spirit and belief.
“Second half we tried, but it’s the same story. We had half chances, shots, we couldn’t score, and we conceded from half chance.”
