EPL: You don’t know how to trap ball – Cassano slams Aubameyang over Arteta’s comment

Date:

Former Italy striker Antonio Cassano has slammed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for attacking Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta in a leaked interview.

The former Arsenal striker, Aubameyang had in a video questioned the Spaniard’s ability to manage established players.

The Gabon international gave the interview shortly after he left Arsenal for Barcelona, but the footage was leaked last week.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker left Barcelona after six months and returned to London to join Chelsea and has made an impressive start to his Blues career.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are currently top of the Premier League, having won eight of their nine games.

And Cassano accused Aubameyang of ‘madness’, telling Bobo TV, “Now Aubameyang is speaking as well. He dares to say that Arteta doesn’t know how to handle champions. Does Aubameyang consider himself a champion? But he doesn’t know how to trap the ball.

“When Arteta took Arsenal, in a general disaster, there were many players among that, and he was there too.

“Try to play football instead of talking about Arteta, who is first in the most important league in the world. For me, it’s madness.”
