Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, has blamed himself and his teammates following their embarrassing Premier League 4-0 loss to Brighton on Saturday.
Fernandes said the Red Devils players should be embarrassed for their poor display against Brighton.
Man United lost against Brighton at the Falmer Stadium following goals from Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella, Pascal Grob and Leandro Trossard.
“I include myself in that,” Fernandes told Sky Sports.
“What we did today, what I did today, wasn’t enough to be in a Man Utd shirt and I accept it.”
He added, “A little bit of everything [went wrong]. Quality. Mentality. They deserved to win and we deserve to be in the position we are in now.
“It is something that we have to look and be embarrassed because that wasn’t good enough from us and we’ve to do much better.” [sic.]
