Eric Cantona names two football stars he admires most

Manchester United legend, Eric Cantona, has named the Red Devils legend Ryan Giggs and AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini as the players he admires most.

Cantona played for eight different clubs during his illustrious career.

But it was his five years at Man United that made him a household name.

Cantona joined Man United in a £1.2 million deal from Leeds United some years ago.

“I’m very happy. I still live great moments, in another world, which is much better I think than becoming a manager or staying in the world of football. I don’t know if it’s better,” Cantona told the Athletic.

“I admire Ryan Giggs or Paolo Maldini, who played in the same club for 20 years as a professional.

“I admire them because I cannot do it, I get bored very quickly, maybe because I have other passions.”
