Europa League: AC Milan legend wants Chukwueze to start crunch clash with Roma

AC Milan legend, Filippo Galli has urged manager, Stefano Pioli to start Samuel Chukwueze in Thursday’s UEFA Europa League quarter-final second leg clash with AS Roma.

The Rooseneri trail 1-0 from the first leg and will need to score at least two goals without conceding to earn a spot in the last four.

Chukwueze has impressed in recent outings for the former Serie A champions.

Galli insisted that having the winger in the starting line-up alongside Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic will be crucial against Roma.

“Chukwueze starting with Roma could be an idea but this doesn’t mean giving up either Leao or Pulisic and perhaps evaluating whether to move Loftus back to midfield: therefore Pulisic as an attacking midfielder,” Galli told the Pianetamilan.

“Then obviously Pioli is there every day and knows the dynamics, he will be able to make the right choices .”
