Europa League: Gabriel Jesus absent during Arsenal training ahead of Bodø/Glimt clash

Arsenal striker, Gabriel Jesus, missed training ahead of their Europa League clash with Bodø/Glimt on Thursday.

The 25-year-old suffered a head injury during their 3-2 victory over Liverpool at Emirates.

Jesus went down after he was caught by an elbow from Reds’ fullback Kostas Tsimikas.

The Brazilian required lengthy treatment on the pitch, but was eventually able to continue before being replaced by Eddie Nketiah.

After being assessed, Jesus has reportedly not suffered a concussion and was thought to be available for the trip to Norway.

But reports suggest his absence was not enforced with the Gunners choosing to rest him.

Jesus has had an instant impact in north London since his arrival from the Premier League champions, scoring five goals and laying on five assists in his 11 appearances this season.
