Victor Osimhen netted a brace as Galatasaray secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in their UEFA Europa League encounter on Thursday night.
Yunus Akgun gave Galatasaray the lead just six minutes into the match, before Tottenham’s William Lankshear leveled the score in the 18th minute.
The hosts regained the lead through Osimhen’s spectacular strike one minute before the half hour mark.
Osimhen doubled Galatasaray’s lead six minutes later.
Dominic Solanke reduced the deficit for Spurs in the 69th minute.
Osimhen was replaced by Kerem Demirbav 10 minutes from time.
He has now scored five goals and provided three assists in eight appearances across all competitions for the Yellow and Reds.
