European Top Clubs Scramble For SPOCS Players

European giants Bayern Leverkusen, Fenerbahce, Norttingham Forest, Rapid Vienna, Sturm Graz, Redstar Belgrade, Vojvodina and American sides, Vancouver WhiteCaps, Chicago Fire are amongst some of the top teams scrambling for the signature of the selected players by SPOCS in their just concluded largely successful scouting tournament in Abuja.

The program which was concluded November 27 at the mainbowl of the MKO Abiola national stadium, FCT, Abuja, unearthed new 15 top players selected from the 36 teams that participated in the  tournament by the eagle eyes of SPOCS officials led by its CEO/founder Sascha Empacher who together with others such as Geoffrey Lockhart, a former Newcastle United chief scout, were on hand during the 5 days program to do the selection themselves.

Shortly has the program ended when the interests or queue to snap the young talented players started raining or pouring in quick succession to the chagrin of many. But that goes to reaffirm or serve as a testament to the quality of raw talents that were paraded at the tournament.

Revealing this much was SPOCS indefatigable Nigeria  Director, Gbenga Agbejoye who spoke to newsmen at the end of the tournament to announce the selected players that made the cut and the efforts by the renowned agency which was already yielding almost immediate results.

He charged club Owners to therefore ensure they take amble advantage of the platform and opportunity provided by SPOCS to market their players but only the very top talents will be considered  as the organization works with some of the finest clubs in Europe, America and Asia.

“We thank God for another successful scouting tournament in Abuja after recording similar successes in Remo, Ogun state and in Bayelsa state.

“I can tell you for free that the 15 players our team of top scouts selected from this tournament is already attracting great interest from top European clubs such as Bayern Leverkusen, Fenerbahce, Norttingham Forest, Rapid Vienna, Sturm Graz, Redstar Belgrade, Vojvodina and American sides, Vancouver WhiteCaps, Chicago Fire amongst others.

“We are however working to close the deals and ensure that only the best clubs that can guarantee the progressive development of our players are considered”, he stated.
