Former Flying Eagles star Tom Dele-Bashiru has acknowledged that enhancing his goal-scoring tally is a key objective for him this season.
He scored his first goal of the season for Watford in the English Championship last weekend.
Dele-Bashiru’s 67th-minute strike was crucial in securing a valuable draw for Watford against Coventry City.
Energized by this goal, the Nigerian midfielder is now focused on adding more goals to help the Hornets achieve promotion back to the Premier League by the end of the season.
Coventry shocked the Hornets faithful with the opening goal after four minutes of action through Ellis Simms but Watford through Dele- Bashiru stormed back to tie the game with a second half equaliser.

“I need to add goals to my game, so I’m pleased to get one today, and I think it was a fair result in the end,” he told the club’s media.
The Nigerian has played in all Watford’s five games in the Championship this term with a goal to his credit and he will be looking forward to ensuring that the Hornets go in the hunt for more points on Saturday when they visit Carrow Road as guest of Norwich City.
