Falconets line up for friendlies against Australia and Mexico

Nigeria’s U-20 women’s team, the Falconets, are gearing up for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup with friendly matches against Australia and Mexico.

The team commenced their preparations in Abuja two weeks ago and will continue their buildup in Colombia next month.

The upcoming friendlies against Australia and Mexico will take place in Colombia, providing crucial match practice ahead of the tournament.

Currently, 32 players are competing for spots on the squad, aiming to represent Nigeria in the World Cup.

In the tournament’s group stage, the Falconets have been drawn alongside three-time champions Germany, Venezuela, and Korea, setting the stage for competitive matches as they pursue success on the world stage.
