Fatai Osho to pocket ₦24m as Akwa United’s head coach

Coach Fatai Osho has joined Akwa United ahead of 2023-2024 Nigeria Premier League season.

Osho confirmed his appointment via a social media post on Thursday evening.

According to Brila.net, the coach signed a year deal with the option of a further year.​

The 52 year-old will receive two million naira as monthly salary.

He will replace Deji Ayeni, who is expected to leave when his contract expires at the end of this month.

Osho last worked as assistant to Stanley Eguma at Rivers United, a post he held for two seasons.

He also had a spell with Enyimba, starting off as Assistant Coach and was later confirmed as head coach, after leaving Remo Stars.
