FC Bethel Sporting Wins 2024 1XBet Cup

FC Bethel Sporting have emerged champions of the 2024 edition of the 1XBet Community cup.

Bethel defeated Gunners Link FC by 2-1 in a pulsating and glamorous final played on Thursday, at the magnificent Mobolaji Arena in Lagos.

The coach Nathaniel Olagunju tutored side, left no one in doubt of their intentions, when in their opening fixture in the competition they pummeled their opponents, Addo Waterside FC by 9 -0.

Since after then, they never looked back as they took all opponents to the cleaners until they achieved their goal and carted away the beautiful giant trophy plus ten million (N10m) prize money for winners.

An excited coach Olagunju attributed their success to God, hard work, dedication, unity and collective team spirit.

“I want to also thank our management, players, fans and the entire coaching staff.

“The victory is a testament of hard work, dedication, our unity and collective team spirit, he noted.

“I must commend the organisers and sponsors 1XBet for putting up such a laudable competition”, he concluded.

While also speaking after the final, the competition’s Technical Director, Waidi Akanni, congratulated and applauded the winners, FC Bethel Sporting while also promising that the competition has come to stay and that next year’s edition will be bigger and better.
