Award winners have emerged as the curtains fell on the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.

Africa celebrated a historic triumph as Morocco lifted the coveted trophy for the first time in the nation’s history, defeating Argentina 2–0 in the final.

Teenage prodigy Mohamed Zabiri was the hero of the night, netting a stunning brace that sealed the Atlas Cubs’ victory.

With the feat, Morocco became only the second African nation — after Ghana’s 2009 triumph — to win the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

They enjoyed an amazing ride into the finals, winning all matches but losing just once to Mexico by a goal in the last round of the group stage matches.
