FIFA Women’s World Cup: Brazil Joins Race To Host 2027

The number of countries seeking to host the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup has increased to 5 with the latest to join being Brazil, BSNSports.com.ng report.

South Africa, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany are the initial countries that submitted their bids earlier.

Brazilian Football Federation on Saturday morning wrote an official letter to the World Soccer governing body indicating their readiness to stage the tournament.

FIFA is expected to announce the country that will host the event at the end of March 2023.

Australia and New Zealand will host the 2023 edition with 32 countries including Nigeria’s Super Falcons competing for honours.
