Brazil forward, Neymar Jr, has mocked Argentina for their celebrations after winning the Cup of Champions at Wembley.

Neymar’s PSG teammate, Lionel Messi, put in a fine display as they beat Italy 3-0 on Wednesday to win this year’s Finalissima.

It was their second title in the space of 11 months.

The Albiceleste had defeated Brazil 1-0 last year in the Copa America final to win their first major title since 1993.

Photographs of Argentina’s dressing room celebrations went viral on social media and Neymar posted a comment under one Instagram post ironically asking if Argentina had won the World Cup.

He wrote: “Did they win the World Cup?”

Neymar’s comment comes after Argentina international Nicolas Otamendi shared a clip of his teammates singing a song dedicated to neighbours Brazil, reminding them of their Copa America final defeat.

“Brasilero, what happened? [Argentina captain Lionel] Messi went to Rio [de Janeiro] and got the Copa [America],” the song goes.

Last year, Brazil’s players made fun of Argentina following their elimination from the football competition at the Olympic Games.
