First Lady Oluremi Tinubu visited the family of former Senate President Bukola Saraki on Tuesday to extend condolences following the passing of his mother, Mrs. Morenike Florence Saraki.
According to a statement from Senior Special Assistant Busola Kukoyi, the visit, approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, preceded the funeral arrangements for the Saraki family matriarch.
During the visit, Mrs. Tinubu underscored the familial bond between their households, stating, “we are one family.” She reassured Senator Saraki of their enduring closeness, affirming, “You know that politics aside, Mr. President will always look out for you. Mama lived a good life. I know it hurts so much but we thank God for the good life she lived.”
