Flamingos Taiwo attributes team success to teamwork

Flamingos’ midfielder Taiwo Afolabi has described the team’s achievement in India as a result of team work even as she gave Nigerians a standing ovation for their support. The Delta Queens ace who dished out a pix with some of her teammates on social media maintained that the unity of purpose in the Olowokere tutored side is worthy of emulation and capable of achiving the best.

“The achievements of an organization are the results of the combined effort of each individual.

Nigeria Beat Germany in 3rd Place Battle at U-17 World Cup Sunday. The Germany ladies produced what could pass for the tournaments best comebacks when they rose from 3-0 down to level up 3-3 against Flamingos.

Penalty considered anyone’s game took the centred stage with the Flamingos emerging victorious 3-2. Both teams put in every arsenal in their armory, little wonder the girls afterwards exchanged jerseys in the spirit of sportsmanship and danced together to celebrate an interesting encounter.
