Flying Eagles settle down in Morocco, ready for AFCON challenge

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have settled down in Casablanca, Morocco for a one-week training tour ahead of the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The players and their officials departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Thursday night for Morocco.

The contingent arrived in Morocco early Friday morning and is now ready for the task ahead.

The Flying Eagles are staying at the Novotel Hotel in Mohammedia, just outside Casablanca.

Ladan Bosso’s side has two friendlies lined up against Benin Republic and South Sudan before leaving for Egypt next week.

The West Africans will face hosts Egypt, Mozambique and Senegal in Group A at the U-20 AFCON.
