Friendly: Dream Team Draw Shooting Stars 1-1 In Ibadan

Nigeria’s U23 team continued their preparations for the African Cup of Nations qualifier against their counterpart from Tanzania with a warm-up game.

The team under coach Salisu Yusuf has been preparing for this qualifier at the Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan.

They engaged in a friendly game against the Nigeria Professional Football League side Shooting Stars and it ended in a stalemate.

After a scoreless first half, the Oluyole Warriors took the lead before the Dream Team levelled the game from the penalty spot and ensured that the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, the team is expected to depart the country for Tanzania on Thursday as the game is slated for Saturday at the Benjamin Makpa stadium in Dare Salam.
