Friendly: Finidi to line up strong team against Mali

Date:

Super Eagles interim head coach, Finidi George will parade his strongest team in Tuesday’s friendly against Mali.

Finidi hinted he will freshen up the team following last Friday’s 2-1 victory over the Black Stars of Ghana.

The gaffer, according to camp sources, is, however, not willing to take chances against Malians.

The former winger wants to keep the job on a permanent basis and knows another victory against Mali will enhance his reputation.

Experienced defender, Kenneth Omeruo, who missed the game against Ghana due to a slight injury is expected to return to the starting line-up.

The likes of goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi and Chidozie Awaziem are expected to keep their place in the starting line-up.

The encounter against Mali will kick off at 9pm Nigeria time.
