Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has expressed confidence in the newly elected South-south officials of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Fubara spoke at the party’s South-south zonal congress held in Asaba, Delta State, where he stressed the need for unity among members to achieve a common goal.
The governor said he was confident the new leaders would deliver for the party and commended Delta State for hosting the congress.

Fubara described the new party leaders’ responsibilities as demanding, but wished them well in their new assignments.
Fubara said, “We will achieve our purpose when we are united and work together. We have the right people at the right place.
“My charge will be to those of us who were elected today. Their responsibilities will be demanding. I believe strongly that they will deliver to our party. I wish all of you very well. I want to wish this state well for hosting us,” he said.
