Funke Akindele Empowers 175 Crew Members for Upcoming Film Project

Actress and box office sensation Funke Akindele has expressed her gratitude for the chance to empower 175 crew members working on her forthcoming film, “Everybody Loves Jenifa”.

In an Instagram post, Akindele shared a photo of the dedicated team and applauded their hard work in bringing the film to life. She revealed that the project was self-funded and took pride in providing opportunities for a talented crew, 95% of whom are young professionals showcasing their skills.

Akindele also highlighted the smooth collaboration between Nigerian and Ghanaian team members, emphasizing her commitment to empowering the next generation and creating platforms for them to excel.

“Proud moment! I want to celebrate the incredible 175 crew members who worked tirelessly for nine weeks to bring “Everybody Loves Jenifa” to life. As a self-funded project, I’m honored to have empowered such a talented team, with 95% of them being young people, to showcase their skills.

“Special thanks to our Nigerian and Ghanaian crew members for their seamless collaboration. I believe in empowering the next generation and providing them with opportunities to shine. And shine they did! Get ready for the movie’s release in December,” she wrote.
