Gabon president begs Aubameyang to end retirement

Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is being urged to end his international retirement.

Aubameyang flew to Gabon on Monday where he met with president Ali Bongo Ondimba.

Ondimba is urging the veteran striker is reconsider his international retirement after falling out with the federation.

Gabon need Aubameyang as they battle to qualify for the African Cup of Nations.

Gabon lost their last match 1-0 against Sudan but remain top of their group and are set to qualify for the tournament in the Ivory Coast next January.

Aubameyang was back in London for Chelsea training on Tuesday.
