Ghana vs Nigeria: Black Stars refuse to make squad list public days to W/Cup playoff

Date:

The national team of Ghana are yet to reveal the list of invited players with four days left before they take on Nigeria in the first leg of the 2022 World Cup playoff.

The Super Eagles already announced a 32-man squad earlier this month with seven of the players on standby.

As of Monday morning, at least six of those players have reported to camp.

They are: William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina, Frank Onyeka, Odion Ighalo.

However, the Black Stars have shrouded their squad in secrecy, although they have been hit with several injury setbacks.

The latest being Crystal Palace’s Jordon Ayew, who is believed to have tested positive to COVID-19 and was unavailable for their 4-0 win over Everton in the FA Cup last weekend.
