Gift Orban wins Gent’s Player, and Goal of the month awards again

Gift Orban has won Gent Player and Goal of the Month for the second consecutive month after claiming the award again.

The 20-year-old Nigerian attacker won the same award in February after repeated stellar performances both in the league and in European club football.

Orban continued with his great form in March by scoring nine goals in five games in all competitions including a haul against Waregen, and a hat-trick against Basakshir in the Europa Conference League.

Since joining Genk in January, Gift Orban has scored 14 goals and assisted 2 goals in 12 games played in all competitions.

Gift Orban will be hoping to add to his tally on Thursday when Gent host West Ham in the UEFA Europa Conference League quarterfinal first-leg tie.
